What a day

Went out for a little frontier fishing to some new (to me) water.  Water temps in Northern Nevada are down in the 50's and there are plenty of bugs.  Still stoneflies out the yin-yang and the river is as beautiful as possible.  I love going out and exploring the river, thats what fishing is about to me.  Its about the deep pocket that you have never run your fly through, the possibilities of catching who knows what.  Today we had some pretty amazing luck.  We got a flat tire on one of the quads and a jeep brigade happened to show up after we waited for something like, oh I don't know, maybe 30 seconds.  We had no tools or anything but the crew of jeepers lent us the goods and we were going again in about 10 minutes.  Later I was walking back down this area I had walked earlier and spotted a fly box, turns out it was mine and I didn't even know it fell out.  What luck huh?  or grace I think.  We got a nice little thunderstorm at the end of our day that brought some motivation to them fish.  Anyway heres some shots from today.
