Today was my first day in a few weeks on the Truckee river and it was damn nice to be back fishing it. When I left the flows were still above 800 in NV, now they are around 500 in reno. This time of year is better than christmas because the fishing is awesome. When the crawfish start to molt, which will be in a few weeks, the fish go absolutely crazy over them. In my opinion it is the best time of the year to catch a lot of big fish. Anyway here are some shots from today, I was running a size 14 green caddis below a crawfish.
