Its easy to see just by the dates on the posts that I have been slacking. Thats one thing that I really didn't want to do but it gets difficult when school is back in session. Fortunately I haven't been slacking in the fishing department. I've been getting out about 2 to 3 times a week and doing fairly well. This time of year is fun to fish but can be frustrating at the same time. I have been catching a lot of 12-14 inchers on caddis and stones in the evening, and craw and baetis in the a.m. A week ago I hooked the biggest fish of my life, but he broke off at my indicator (damn thingamabobbers!!!!) running up river through a whitewater rapid after about a 3 min fight. I was heart-broke. But things are looking up, as the water cools expect to have luck on streamers, baetis, oct. caddis, and stones.
