Up up and away
I have been fishing in montana for the past two weeks, finally getting some good river fishing in. When I left NV the flows were above 2000 on the truckee and the E. Carson. I thought two weeks would drop the flows a more than down to a little over 1700 and 1600 respectively, but my hopes were shattered when I came back to see the truckee all muddied up here in Reno. Basically it all boils down to one thing... flows are still way up and if you want to catch fish get high up on the river. Above boca is fishing very well right now. Ill be up near the town of truckee all week, look for me on the river. I just got my first shipment of WTW hats and I'm not too stingy about giving those things out. Here are a few more photos from the weeks in MT.
